Hello! Well we made it to LA in one piece after a bit of a teary goodbye at Heathrow (well as usual Debs was the only one who managed to keep a lid on the emotion!!)
The flight was pretty uneventful, a few films and lots of food later we arrived at 1.30pm to a lovely sunny day. We thought about getting the train, bus and train again but this didnt last long and we jumped in a cab (ok, ok supposed to be on a budget but first stop and all that!) the cabbie felt it was his duty to point out the hollywood sign every 2 mins! there it is, there it is again - gee thanks for that!
anyway - we were sharing a room with 2 Danish girls, one Scots girl, one english and one we have no idea as she has a bizarre accent!! The first night was horrible! our window was right by a new nightclub, so as we were so tired from theflight we went to bed quite early and got woken up by what seemed like 1000's of people wanting to bust some shapes in our room ! we got up really early in the end to make the most of the day and went to Beverly Hills where we saw Coutrny Cox and her hubbie, Simon Cowells girlfriend (!), Adam Sandler and ReeceWeatherspoon - we think we might be in hernew film as it was being filmed out side the Wilshire Hotel (the one in Pretty woman) and they asked who wanted to walk past so Stacey shot her hand up and we strolled across the scene (Stacey with camer in hand) but I dont think 3 english celeb spotters is quite the image they want to give! so doubt we will be gracing the big screen any day soon!
we then went to the beach, didnt swim, although it was a really hot day, then off to Baseball game which was great fun but slightly confusing and you spend most of the time singing and chanting then actually watching any balls!
Today we are off to Universal Studios before flying out to Fiji tonight. we get to Fiji on Tuesday (miss a day) so we are looking forward to a week in the glorious sun!
Right - need somebreakfast, i hear the pancakes calling.

You sound like you're having lots of fun already!! How cool you might be on the big screen after just one day into your travels!! lol Its a shame you didnt get much sleep, hopefully you'll be able to catch up on some sleep in figi!
Me and jen went to a craft fair in Alexandra palace yesterday and spent lots of money on scrapbooking stuff,we're a bad influence on each other!Our claim to fame is seeing Helena bonham carter yesterday at the fair as i was queued up behind her! Great first update, glad to hear you are making the most of the stars in LA! How many pancakes or waffles did you eat for breakfast? I remember they were yum! Glad you enjoyed the baseball, disappointed to hear you weren't on the screen though, you obviously didnt look silly enough haha. Safe flight to Fiji x

Was in Oxford Street yesterday and apparently there was someone called Jonty from Big Brother there?! No idea as havent seen it. Not quite hollywood eh?!
